Mary K. Bradshaw, Director of Construction Management
Mary K. Bradshaw directs the work of HDC’s construction-management team and specializes in assisting partners to design and build integrated health-care facilities that support the whole person. Leading a team of seven, Mary helps nonprofit clients achieve their end goals and assure that projects meet high standards for quality, cost efficiency, and sustainability. Mary brings extensive project management, organizational management and architectural design experience to her work. Prior to joining HDC in 2014, Mary worked for public housing authorities in Clackamas County and Portland, where she developed rental housing units; coordinated the selective disposition of a scattered-site public housing portfolio; and managed the development and sale of homeownership units in large-scale HOPE VI–funded redevelopments. Previously Mary worked as a community builder fellow for the U.S. Department of HUD and served as founding executive director for Portland community land trust Proud Ground. A licensed architect, Mary spent the first decade of her career working with private architecture firms in Washington, California, and the U.S. Virgin Islands to design and manage affordable-housing and commercial developments.
