Tim Kay, Office Manager
Tim Kay keeps the HDC office running smoothly. They manage technology, serve as the first point of contact for clients, and provide administrative support to the executive director. Additionally, Tim provides support and coordination for events, trainings, and other projects and assists staff with travel logistics and scheduling. Prior to joining HDC in June 2019, Tim worked as an office manager for a provider of management services to homeowner associations and, previously, as a resident director in student housing at Reed College. Their diverse experience includes working in supply management/logistics for the U.S. Army and, as a graduate student, facilitating programming and initiatives with the University of Mississippi’s Center of Inclusion and Cross-Cultural Engagement. Tim’s work at the center focused on creating spaces for authentic conversation and mentoring underrepresented students including LGBTQ+ individuals, students of color, first-generation college students, and students with multiple and intersecting identities. Tim holds a Master of Arts in higher education from the University of Mississippi and a Bachelor of Science and business administration in sport management from Western Carolina University.
