Camela Raymond, Communications Manager

Camela Raymond works with HDC’s internal teams to craft communications that raise awareness, build connection, and motivate action. She manages HDC’s content strategy and lends her writing and word-grooming skills where they are needed. Previously Camela has worked as a communications consultant, freelance writer, and magazine editor and publisher. Her journalism experience includes comanaging Open Housing, an Agora Journalism Center project aimed at strengthening the information ecosystem that supports civic engagement around housing issues. Camela has a bachelor’s degree in modern culture and media from Brown University and has studied creative writing at Portland State University and elsewhere.
