Melissa Meiners, Construction Project Manager

An experienced architect and project manager, Melissa Meiners brings a collaborative mindset and a skill for solving technical problems to her work supporting clients to achieve their goals. As a senior construction project manager for HDC, Melissa provides mission-driven developers with capacity, expertise, and owner’s representation throughout the development process. A licensed architect in Oregon, Washington, and California, Melissa has three decades of experience designing and managing delivery of multifamily affordable, transitional, and market-rate housing and community facilities in the Pacific Northwest. Prior to joining HDC in 2026, Melissa was the managing partner at Koble Creative Architecture, where she annually supervised and managed 20+ projects while overseeing the firm’s finances and operations. Before cofounding Koble in 2015, Melissa worked as a project architect and project manager at two established Portland-based architecture firms, managing a diversity of housing, commercial, and public-agency projects while serving as an advocate for sustainability initiatives. She holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Oregon and is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), and the Portland Building Enclosure Council.
